27" Asus RoG Swift PG278QR gaming monitor performance benchmarks: response, input and full specs review
Asus RoG Swift PG278QR has a total input lag of 10.5 ms, which is excellent among the competition. The monitor has a VESA mount. For graphics color quality, the Asus RoG Swift PG278QR has an excellent color depth of 8 -bit, resulting in smoother gradients and more accurate colors. In terms of pixel density, the Asus RoG Swift PG278QR has an excellent density of 109 pixels-per-inch, resulting in sharper text and picture quality. For the extremely fast frame rates, the Asus RoG Swift PG278QR has a maximum refresh rate of 165 Hz that allows smoother gameplay. The Asus RoG Swift PG278QR has the Display Port and this is essential for NVIDIA cards to work with AMD FreeSync. To compensate for graphically demanding games, the Asus RoG Swift PG278QR has a very good low end adaptive refresh rate of 24 Hz that can adapt to more lower frame rate drops. The minimum response rate of Asus RoG Swift PG278QR is 1 ms, which is eliminates ghosting effects. For the average response rate, the Asus RoG Swift PG278QR scores 3 ms, which ensures effective synchronization with the high refresh rate. The monitor has an unimpressive contrast ratio of 1000 : 1. The brightness of Asus RoG Swift PG278QR is lower than other monitors. Without the AMD FreeSync support, this monitor is not compatible with AMD graphics cards. The monitor uses a TN panel which suffers from color shifting when viewed from horizontal and vertical angles and has slightly washed colors compared to IPS and VA panels. It is worth noting that the Asus RoG Swift PG278QR is a relatively old monitor.

ASUS ROG SWIFT PG278QR OSD Calibration settings
Hi guys, anyone got calibration settings for a ASUS ROG SWIFT PG278QR for best colour representation? There seems to be alot of PG278Q OSD settings out there but very few specifically for the QR. I understand the panels are very similar however, there are more OSD settings avaliable on the QR and would like a definitive set for it.....
Also if there are any NVIDIA control panel settings i should be making, please include in response!

Okay, so as far as I can tell the QR uses the same panel as the Q so if you found a reliable source for calibration settings for the Q they should be identical to what you would use on the QR. I personally prefer
tftcentral
; that link should take you to the page for the PG278Q as I couldn't find a calibration test they did specifically on the QR likely for the reason I stated above.

ASUS VG278HV vs ASUS ROG Swift PG278QR vs Dell S2716DG
Hey, there. I'm currently using a MX279H, which gives me huge pain when I play FPS games. I plan to get a new monitor for gaming and have a dual setup with my MX279H. Here are the monitors I am looking for, ASUS VG278HV, ASUS PG278QR, Dell S2716DG. If you are making this decision, which would you choose?
What to Consider Before Buying a Graphics Card
If you have been planning to upgrade your system by purchasing a new graphics card. Then there are some important factors to consider.
Resolution VS Quality: Impact on Game Performance
What affects game performance? Clarity or Details?
Ultra VS High Quality Settings in PC Games
Every player has a different notion about the ideal setting for PC games. But in most cases, opting for a High quality graphics configuration is the way to go.
What are CPU or GPU Bottlenecks?
Are you getting sudden frame drops? you might have a bottleneck.
What is the acceptable FPS speed for me?
For some games, you can still enjoy great garphics at lower frame rates.
