Critics Reviews

Conclusion. The pace at which new hardware hit our lab this summer meant we couldn’t review all of AMD’s Radeon RX 500-series cards consecutively.
The Radeon RX 560 Series Graphics plays gamers' favorites at a smooth 1080p, from the latest eSports games and MOBAs to the most popular, graphically intensive AAA titles. As more games adopt DirectX 12 and Vulkan™, combined with frequent software updates by AMD, the RX 560 will also continue to deliver in the future.
When the Radeon RX 560 launched in April it was the only RX 500-series card with a meaningful under-the-hood tech boost compared to the RX 400-series. The graphics processor in the older RX 460 ...
Related AMD Radeon RX 590 Rumored To Launch on ... The graphics card that has leaked out is the Radeon RX 560X which is the direct replacement to the Radeon RX 560 (successor of the Radeon RX 460).
By contrast, AMD never shipped a fully enabled Polaris 11 part under the 400 series (excluding the Macbook Pro specific Radeon Pro 460), so the RX 560 was a notable step up from the 14 CU Radeon ...
The AMD Radeon RX 500 series cards, as previously confirmed, will include the Radeon RX 580 (Polaris 10), Radeon RX 570 (Polaris 10), Radeon RX 560 (Polaris 11) and the Radeon RX 550 (Polaris 12).
AMD’s Radeon RX 500-series refresh was a quick blitz of mostly recycled GPUs and iterative nomenclature. But there were a couple of developments that made the 500-series notably more competitive ...

Both have the same cost, so what is worth more 2x vram from 550 or 2x stream processors from 560+ clock speed?

vram is irrelevant to actual performance
the same for stream processors

the 560 is superior

the gtx 1050 ti should be around the same price and is better

R7 370 or RX 560
Which would run better for gaming,r7 370 2gb 256 bit or rx560 2gb 128 bit.R7 is 1000mhz,rx560 is 1300mhz. Also would it run most games on high-ultra if I went crossfire with R7?

neither graphics cards should have any issues with the games you have listed as long as you play at 1080p.
If you plan on playing newer games soon, I would suggest the RX 560, if you arent then pick the R7 370

R7 370x2 or RX560?
I have looked and I can either get another R7 370 or a new RX560 for about the same price. The 560 is faster but 370 has twice the memory bandwidth (256 as opposed to 128)

R7 370 has similar performance as rx560. So its not worth the upgrade (its more like sidegrade).

Crossfire is not supported well (or at all) in many games, so it depends of what are you planning to play.
Its better to wait for now, because the cheapest gpu which worth the upgrade is rx580 or gtx 1060. And the prices are still high because of the miners.

GTX 1050 TI VS RX 560 4GB For 1080p
So i already have Pentium G4560 and a GTX 750Ti, looking for an upgrade. Which one is better?
Price difference is not far here, before anyone saying RX 570 is a better option, the RX 570 is far far more expensive than the two.
Please share your thoughts! Thanks.

The 1050 Ti is faster, there's no question of that. The 560 usually costs less, that's the plus for the 560. I wouldn't bother with the 4gb version, since it's not really a fast enough card to do much at the kind of settings where you'd need 4gb vram.

The 1050 and the RX 560 are fairly equal. I would not bother with the older used cards even if they end up being faster in some cases. You can go with your brand preference between those two. I doubt the extra memory in the 560 will do anything at the resolutions and settings you will be using with those cards.

Gtx 1050ti vs RX 560
Hello there,
I have monitor with freesync and intially I was gonna go for RX580 4gb, but they are impossible to get so I am chosing between 1050ti and RX 560. 1050ti is better card generaly but is RX 560 better choice considering I have freesync?(they cost same in my country for some reason)

reiteratewade 1 month ago
My opinion on this issue is for people who bought freesync monitors due in part to the monitor having freesync, wait until you can get the AMD card you intended to get. Part of what you're doing when you select a monitor with adaptive sync is you are committing to that line of videocards. I think it's a dumb move to do that then turn around and buy the opposite card.

If you bought the monitor for reasons that had nothing to do with freesync, that freesync just happened to be a bonus feature you didn't care about, then get whatever card is the best value for your money, in this case that would be the 1050 Ti.

GTX 1050 vs RX 560 vs GTX 750Ti
I try to choose between 3 graphics cards:
GTX 1050 2GB
RX560 2GB
GTX 750Ti 4GB

I want to play in games (BF1, GTA5, Witcher 3 and etc) on high quality settings(not ultra and without MSAA) in 1280x1024 resolution. And how do you think, 750ti 4GB will better because of 4GB Vram, or what ? What must I buy ?

The price is about the same.

The GTX 750Ti will never win here. The VRAM doesn't actually mean much, it''s just the memory size of what the GPU can handle. The 750Ti wont even handle much anyway. I'd highly suggest going for the GTX 1050, as it wins with the RX 560 in terms of Clock Speed, Pixel Rate, Render Output Processors and wins in most benchmarks with the RX. Additionally, it has even higher OC capabilities than the RX 560. But if you're going for 1024p gaming, they will come out close anyway The only thing that will change is with DX 12, where you should get the RX 560

Is it worth paying extra ~16€ for rx 560 if I don't play games? I am a graphic designer but I don't work with 3d or anything high demanding. So far I've managed to live with an old GeForce 8600 gt.

Your CPU will bottleneck you so expect lower than shown fps on games from videos online (unless they benchmark it with the same CPU as yours). But overall buying a GPU will increase your performance the most. Just make sure you have a good enough PSU and enough PCI-E connectors for your GPU.

RX 560 4GB (with Freesync) or GTX 1050 Ti?
From the one hand GTX 1050 Ti is 15 - 20% faster (~10 FPS more) but also 40 euros more where i live, but on the other hand we have RX 560 which can operate with my freesync monitor which I already have, + RX 560 is as fast and sometimes as fast as 1050 Ti on DX12 and Vulkan games (Games of the Future) and Freesync offers elimination of screen tearing and stuter which can make (as i have heard) games that don't run as well playable is situations which other cards wouldn't. Which one would you recommend?

P.S: Please don't talk from a side of a Fanboy.

Thanks in advance!

murreletrapunzel 2 months ago
Well for the raw power aka more FPS. Then the 1050 TI. I just hate to recommend that too you because of your Freesync monitor.

Freesync and GSync are very nice features to have. I use mine all the time. I wouldn't ignore it for gaming.

So with that in mind. I would suggest you either save a little more and get the RX580 or just get the RX560 and upgrade to a newer gen GPU at a later time.

The RX560 should be enough for you to get decent FPS in those games and hold you off until you can afford a better AMD GPU.

Gtx 1050 ti OR rx 560 with free sync monitor?
Hi i am interested in buying a new monitor and a new graphics card for my current set up but i just cant decide which one to chose between gtx 1050ti (4gb) and rx 560 (4gb). I know that 1050 is much stronger in terms of power and will result in more fps but i have seen a video comparing those two and even though rx had 10 fps lower it was smoother cause of free sync and since i will buy a monitor with free sync i just cant decide whats worth more. Prices on the cards are 160 eurofor rx560 (4gb) and 180 euro for the 1050 ti (4gb) and the monitor is AOC G2460VQ6 for 150 euro.Total budget is around 320-350 for both so if you have any other suggestions feel free to add

Also, the 1500X comes with 16mb of L3 Cache, the Ryzen 1400 only has 8mb of L3 cache. Not a big difference, but according to Hardware Unboxed, the extra cache yields roughly a 5fps bonus.

RX 560 oc 4gb or GTX 1050 ti oc 4gb
Hi!

I would like to ask you guys for some help. The thing is, that i want to build a pc which can run games on 1080p high settings at avg. 60 fps. I choosed these 2 cards:

RX 560 oc 4gb:
https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-RX560GAMING-OC-4GD-rev-10#kf

GTX 1050 ti oc 4gb:
https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N105TWF2OC-4GD#kf

I know that the 1050 ti is slightly better than the amd card but there are 2 important informations that you have to know:
1: in my country at the moment the rx 560 is cheaper than the 1050 about 45-50$
2: i've found a very good 75hz monitor which has freesync feature (http://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-24MP59G-P-gaming-monitor)

The main question is, that the rx 560 & freesync combination is better or worse than a normal non-freesync monitor with the stronger 1050 ti card?

And one more question, in that case when in games the fps is below than than the monitors refresh rate (like PUBG or stronger games), does the freesync matters? Or it's functioning just like a normal monitor?

uprightlength 3 months ago
Having in mind you own a Free-Sync monitor and RX 560 is 45-50$ less,i would go for the RX 560.

The Free-Sync would push the low fps balanced,so everything will be good.

A 1050Ti is also a good pick considering the price. But i think the futures favor RX 560 a little more.

RX 560 or GTX 1050? Three options...
Hi all,

So my XFX HD 5770 died a few days ago, so I need a new graphics card. I haven't been in the market for one for a long time but figure the RX 560 or GTX 1050 would be a good choice. Essentially my only criteria is that the cards have to be at least as powerful as the old HD 5770, and if possible, run Mass Effect Andromeda.

The three I've narrowed it down to are
1. MSI GTX 1050 Aero ITX OC (http://www.msy.com.au/waonline/graphics-card/20964-msi-nvidia-gtx-1050-aero-itx-2g-ocv1-2gb-gtx-1050-aero-itx-oc-pci-e-vga-card.html)

2. Asus GTX 1050 Phoenix (http://www.msy.com.au/waonline/pc-components/17915-asus-ph-gtx1050-2g-2g-gtx-1050-phoenix-pci-e-vga-card.html)

3. Gigabyte RX 560 OC (http://www.msy.com.au/waonline/amd/20196-gigabyte-rx560oc-2gd-2gb-rx-560-oc-pci-e-vga-card.html)

Any advice as to which of these three would be the superior card? They're all within of each other, so the price is irrelevant.

Thanks in advance!

The 1050 2g GT is generally faster than the RX 560 4g but there are a few instances where the Vram favors the 560, Mass Effect Andromeda doesn't seem to be one of those titles and should favor the 1050 GT.
