Why i3 8100+ rtx 2060 have Average fps in 1080p- 98, but r5 2600 + rtx 2060 have 94fps ?

@kider so i dont think u should have any issues with this procesor since is i7 with more cores and threats so it would go great but i would recommend for you to go check some videos on yt or benchmarks to see if its good and doesnt have bottleneck so you get full performance,also go more deeper in this things to be safe and sound...u might need to replace cpu due to more wanted and houngry games that take 100%gpu at all cores,then u might get bottleneck for sure but in low end games like lol,dota,gta itc...i dont se any problem not runing for next 10y

@Elad Maybe,U might get bottleneck due to much stronger gpu than cpu which means that your graphic card (2060) would need to wait for cpu to render/send to gpu,then gpu will need to wait,so lets say u get like 50-60fps same as having gtx 1050 performance....so im going to recommend to chech or ask on support site or seeing on youtube....in another way i would recommend better cpu at least 7th generation of intel processors if u want to pair with with this gpu

I have an i7 4790 and an rtx 2060 and can say with confidence that the bottleneck is huge, cpu maxes out way too fast and games like AC:origins run like crap.

Living breathing evidence that an FX 8320/8350 just cannot handle a 290/780 or better, even in a GPU bound game. know why the 8350 trailed 5-15fps? It wasn't tuning to its full usage like the i7 was running it That 8320 choking a 780 to 72% usage.

This is bullshit! It also says that FX-8320 will bottleneck the R9 270. I have this CPU with R9 270X and they work fine together, no CPU limit at all. This CPU can even work well with a GTX 1660 Ti or an RTX 2060 too!

For apex legends, this also occurs on old intel CPU's Core 2 Duos and Quads. I got a Core 2 Quad Q9400 overclocked at 3.0 Ghz and still runs some games decently, it ain't great but still holds up a bit and it has SSE4.1 instructions not 4.2 and Apex refuses to start. Some games had this problem but it got fixed and ran decent on my system, see no reason why this wouldn't be the case with Apex.
