NVIDIA ’s xx70 cards have always been defined by mid-range prices with performance that knocks on the door of high-end graphics cards – especially when overclocked. After taking the time to fully test the Pascal graphics card inside the GTX 1070 Ti, we can say without a doubt that it continues the trend. Spec for spec, this GTX 1070 Ti leapfrogs its direct predecessor, the GTX 970, by boasting 2 % more fps.

The GTX 1070 Ti has 8 GB RAM compared to the GTX 970 's 4 GB video memory. In our synthetic benchmarks, the GTX 1070 Ti blows past the GTX 970 and, amazingly, even the GTX 980 as well.

Fortunately, gaming performance was quite impressive. The GTX 1070 Ti consistently delivers great frame rate increases over the GTX 970 and it really justifies an upgrade. For 1080p Full HD, we were able to play Borderlands 3, Anthem, Need For Speed: Heat, Just Cause 4, Gears of War 5 at 64 fps to 81 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 74 fps.

For 1440p Quad HD, we were able to play Monster Hunter: World, Final Fantasy XV, GreedFall, Hitman 2, F1 2019 at 61 fps to 72 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 66 fps.

This site is bologna....another "bot" generated results.i have an fx 8320e and a lonely r7 370 that pushes 1440p above 30 frames per second on new games like battlefield 5,cod ww2,rocket league, fortnite.....a gtx 1070 ti should easily do 60 all day long on max settings.

If they are the same price the 1070. If the 1070 is 450 and the 980ti is say 350 get the 980ti. I have a friend that just got a evga gtx 980ti classified for 0 if you can find that take it.
