RX 5700 XT with i5-4670K 1080p, 1440p, 4K benchmarks at Ultra Quality
It is worth noting that the RX 5700 XT is a very power hungry card and requires a decent power supply unit. In terms of memory, the RX 5700 XT 's 8192 MB RAM is more than enough for modern games and should not cause any bottlenecks. This combination between RX 5700 XT and Intel Core i5-4670K @ 3.40GHz has less than 8% bottleneck in many games and is perfect match to avoid FPS loss. 4K gaming is joyous on this RX 5700 XT , and with a little tweaking to your AA settings, it'd be hard to imagine a title not capable of 60 fps on average. This combination between RX 5700 XT and Intel Core i5-4670K @ 3.40GHz is a perfect match to avoid FPS loss.

AMD ’s xx00 cards have always been defined by mid-range prices with performance that knocks on the door of high-end graphics cards – especially when overclocked. After taking the time to fully test the RDNA 1.0 graphics card inside the RX 5700 XT, we can say without a doubt that it continues the trend. In our synthetic benchmarks, the RX 5700 XT blows past the RX Vega 56 and, amazingly, even the RX Vega 64 as well.
Unfortunately, gaming performance was not quite as impressive. Even if the RX 5700 XT consistently delivers frame rate increases over the RX Vega 56, the gain is not much to justify an upgrade. Whether it is a justifiable upgrade depends on what graphics card you are upgrading from. Users with a RX Vega 56 will not see a remarkable increase in frame rates after paying more for this RX 5700 XT. Similarly, those holding onto RTX 2070 's GTX 1070 graphics cards will not have a reason to jump teams yet.
For 1080p Full HD, we were able to play Metro Exodus, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Borderlands 3, Anthem, Need For Speed: Heat at 68 fps to 90 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 77 fps. For 1440p Quad HD, we were able to play Anthem, Final Fantasy XV, Gears of War 5, Need For Speed: Heat, Just Cause 4 at 67 fps to 72 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 69 fps.
For 2160p 4K, we were able to play Forza Horizon 4, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Battlefield V, Fallout 76, World War Z at 62 fps to 71 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 65 fps.
The RX 5700 XT sits between the GTX 1080 Ti and the RTX 2070, falling slower than GTX 1080 Ti by 1.7% and faster than RTX 2070 by 5.8%. It has an average relative performance against every graphics card here. The RX 5700 XT's performance in this game hovers around the 60fps mark. Its results are actually indistinguishable from those of the GTX 1080 Ti.
The RX 5700 XT sits between the RTX 2060 and the RX 5700, falling slower than RTX 2060 by 1.3% and faster than RX 5700 by 8.8%. It falls short in relative performance against most of the graphics card here. Its results are actually indistinguishable from those of the RTX 2060. Against its rival - the RTX 2070, the RX 5700 XT is much slower.
The RX 5700 XT sits between the RTX 2070 SUPER and the RTX 2070, falling slower than RTX 2070 SUPER by 1.1% and faster than RTX 2070 by 6.8%. It has an average relative performance against every graphics card here. Its results are actually indistinguishable from those of the RTX 2070 SUPER.
The RX 5700 XT sits between the Radeon VII and the RX 5700, falling slower than Radeon VII by 2.8% and faster than RX 5700 by 9.8%. It falls short in relative performance against most of the graphics card here. Its results are actually indistinguishable from those of the Radeon VII. Against its rival - the RTX 2070, the RX 5700 XT is much slower.
The RX 5700 XT sits between the Radeon VII and the RTX 2080, falling slower than Radeon VII by 3.7% and faster than RTX 2080 by 1.8%. It has a strong relative performance against every graphics card here. Those who have a high refresh rate monitor will enjoy what RX 5700 XT has to offer as it averages 123.3 fps. It is a close call between the RX 5700 XT and its rival RTX 2070 by a small margin.
What to Consider Before Buying a Graphics Card
If you have been planning to upgrade your system by purchasing a new graphics card. Then there are some important factors to consider.
Resolution VS Quality: Impact on Game Performance
What affects game performance? Clarity or Details?
Ultra VS High Quality Settings in PC Games
Every player has a different notion about the ideal setting for PC games. But in most cases, opting for a High quality graphics configuration is the way to go.
What are CPU or GPU Bottlenecks?
Are you getting sudden frame drops? you might have a bottleneck.
What is the acceptable FPS speed for me?
For some games, you can still enjoy great garphics at lower frame rates.
