I have q8400 r7 265 system. And 8 gb dual channel ram. Dual channel is important. When I use Single channel it always bottleneck. I am playing the games at 1080p ultra settings without bottleneck. But it begin to bottleneck at med settings. Some games at high settings on 1080p cpu a little around %10-25 bottleneck to r7 265. But some games at high settings it is no bottleneck. Note (I say this for Q8400 but oc to 3.5 ghz) not non oc q8400.
