Mezitím je NVIDIA nejbližší ekvivalentní karta GTX 980 která stojí Kč 12484.3. Bohužel herní výkon nebyl tak působivý. I když R9 Nano konzistentně poskytuje zvýšení obnovovací frekvence v průběhu R9 390, AMD Radeon R9 390X, zisk není moc pro zdůvodnění upgradu.

Zda je to oprávněná aktualizace, záleží na tom, z jaké grafické karty upgradujete. Uživatelé s R9 390, AMD Radeon R9 390X neuvidí pozoruhodné zvýšení rámcových sazeb po zaplacení více za tento R9 Nano. Stejně tak ti, kdo drží GTX 980 grafické karty GTX 780, nebudou mít důvod přeskočit týmy. Pro 1080p Full HD jsme byli schopni hrát Monster Hunter: World, Final Fantasy XV, Forza Horizon 4, GreedFall, Battlefield V při 61 fps na 65 fps a udržovali snímkové frekvence pohybující se kolem 63 fps.

Pro 1440p Quad HD jsme byli schopni hrát Call of Duty Modern Warfare, World War Z, Strange Brigade, Fallout 76 při 63 fps na 70 fps a udržovali snímkové frekvence pohybující se kolem 65 fps.
