Our Verdict: At 1440p, GTX 1650 SUPER can hit 50-60 frames per second on pretty much everything at ultra, just without antialiasing, less ambient occlusion and turned down shadows. Whereas RX Vega 64 can hit 50-60 frames per second at maximum settings. The RX Vega 64 is faster by 42% for 1440p gaming. For 1080p games, upgrading from GTX 1650 SUPER to RX Vega 64 is not worth it if targeting 60 frames per second. The price/performance ratio is much better for GTX 1650 SUPER .

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER

The GTX 1660 might be the mid-range flagship of the latest Turing set of graphics cards, but their prices keep them out of the reach of most entry-level PC gamers. On the other hand, the GTX 1650 SUPER is closer to being reasonably affordable at a price tag of $ 160. NVIDIA ’s xx50 cards have always been defined by entry-level prices with performance that knocks on the door of mid-range graphics cards – especially when overclocked. After taking the time to fully test the Turing graphics card inside the GTX 1650 SUPER, we can say without a doubt that it continues the trend.

Spec for spec, this GTX 1650 SUPER leapfrogs its direct predecessor, the GTX 1050, by boasting 2 % more fps. The GTX 1650 SUPER has 4 GB RAM compared to the GTX 1050 's 3 GB video memory.

In our synthetic benchmarks, the GTX 1650 SUPER blows past the GTX 1050, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and, amazingly, even the GTX 1060 6GB as well. Fortunately, gaming performance was quite impressive. The GTX 1650 SUPER consistently delivers great frame rate increases over the GTX 1050, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and it really justifies an upgrade.

For 1080p Full HD, we were able to play Gears of War 5, Monster Hunter: World, Final Fantasy XV, Far Cry New Dawn, GreedFall at 62 fps to 70 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 67 fps. For 1440p Quad HD, we were able to play Resident Evil 2, Forza Horizon 4, Battlefield V, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Strange Brigade at 62 fps to 69 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 65 fps.

For 2160p 4K, we were able to play Valorant at 92 fps to 92 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 92 fps.

AMD Radeon RX Vega 64

AMD ’s xx64 cards have always been defined by high-end prices with performance that knocks on the door of extreme graphics cards – especially when overclocked. After taking the time to fully test the GCN 5.0 graphics card inside the RX Vega 64, we can say without a doubt that it continues the trend. For 1080p Full HD, we were able to play Marvel's Avengers, Borderlands 3, Anthem, Need For Speed: Heat, Final Fantasy XV at 60 fps to 77 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 69 fps.

For 1440p Quad HD, we were able to play Godfall, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Monster Hunter: World, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, GreedFall at 60 fps to 67 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 62 fps. For 2160p 4K, we were able to play F1 2018, Valorant at 61 fps to 146 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 103 fps.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER / i7-8700K

At 1440p, GTX 1650 SUPER can hit 50-60 fps on pretty much everything at ultra, just without antialiasing, less ambient occlusion and turned down shadows. It is clear that the GTX 1650 SUPER is a significantly more capable high-end card that can play AAA titles at 1080p/1440p with 50-60 frames per second. The price/performance ratio is excellent for GTX 1650 SUPER against the competition in budget mid-range cards. With current 4096 MB RAM, the GTX 1650 SUPER can have very few memory-related bottlenecks in more modern games.

AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 / i7-7700K

It is worth noting that the RX Vega 64 is a very power hungry card and requires a decent power supply unit. In terms of memory, the RX Vega 64 's 8192 MB RAM is more than enough for modern games and should not cause any bottlenecks. It is important to know that RX Vega 64 's max load temperature is very high and might require custom cooling solutions. In short the performance is exceptional, there's no question that this is one of the most powerful single GPU out there in 2017 .
