Our Verdict: The price of TITAN Xp is ridiculous. The TITAN Xp is faster by 33% for 1440p gaming. However, RX Vega 56 is still capable of producing more than 60 frames per second. For 1080p games, upgrading from RX Vega 56 to TITAN Xp is not worth it if targeting 60 frames per second. In addition, taking into account the huge price difference between the two, the RX Vega 56 is a winner. The price/performance ratio is much better for RX Vega 56 .

AMD Radeon RX Vega 56

The RX Vega 64 might be the high-end flagship of the latest GCN 5.0 set of graphics cards, but their prices keep them out of the reach of most mid-range PC gamers. On the other hand, the RX Vega 56 is closer to being reasonably affordable at a price tag of $ 399. AMD ’s xx56 cards have always been defined by mid-range prices with performance that knocks on the door of high-end graphics cards – especially when overclocked. After taking the time to fully test the GCN 5.0 graphics card inside the RX Vega 56, we can say without a doubt that it continues the trend.

For 1080p Full HD, we were able to play Borderlands 3, Anthem, Need For Speed: Heat, Final Fantasy XV, Just Cause 4 at 63 fps to 76 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 71 fps. For 1440p Quad HD, we were able to play GreedFall, F1 2019, Forza Horizon 4, Far Cry New Dawn, Resident Evil 2 at 65 fps to 80 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 73 fps.

NVIDIA TITAN Xp

For 1080p Full HD, we were able to play Borderlands 3, Metro Exodus, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Need For Speed: Heat, Gears of War 5 at 80 fps to 101 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 89 fps. For 1440p Quad HD, we were able to play Metro Exodus, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Gears of War 5, Need For Speed: Heat, GreedFall at 65 fps to 82 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 72 fps.

For 2160p 4K, we were able to play Strange Brigade, Resident Evil 2, Far Cry New Dawn, Far Cry 5, Call of Duty Modern Warfare at 62 fps to 66 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 64 fps.

In terms of memory, the RX Vega 56 's 8192 MB RAM is more than enough for modern games and should not cause any bottlenecks. In short the performance is exceptional, there's no question that this is one of the most powerful single GPU out there in 2017 .

In terms of cost, pricing clearly is a genuine issue here and the price of TITAN Xp is simply ridiculous. For those on 1080p or even 1440p monitors, the TITAN Xp is very expensive and there are better value choices in the short term. It is worth noting that the TITAN Xp is a very power hungry card and requires a decent power supply unit. In terms of memory, the TITAN Xp 's 12288 MB RAM is more than enough for modern games and should not cause any bottlenecks. 4K gaming is joyous on this TITAN Xp , and with a little tweaking to your AA settings, it'd be hard to imagine a title not capable of 60 fps on average.
