Our Verdict: The price of TITAN Xp is ridiculous. With some tuning, the TITAN Xp makes the most sense for gamers with 4K monitors and it is better than RX 590 by a margin. Though serious gamers hardly play at 4k. For everyone else, especially those on 1080p or even 1440p monitors, the RX 590 could be the better value choice in the short term. The TITAN Xp is faster by 64% for 1440p gaming. However, RX 590 is still capable of producing more than 60 frames per second. For 1080p games, upgrading from RX 590 to TITAN Xp is not worth it if targeting 60 frames per second. In addition, taking into account the huge price difference between the two, the RX 590 is a winner. The price/performance ratio is much better for RX 590 .

It is clear that the RX 590 is a significantly more capable high-end card that can play AAA titles at 1080p/1440p with 50-60 frames per second. The price/performance ratio is excellent for RX 590 against the competition in budget mid-range cards. It is worth noting that the RX 590 is a very power hungry card and requires a decent power supply unit. In terms of memory, the RX 590 's 8192 MB RAM is more than enough for modern games and should not cause any bottlenecks.

In terms of cost, pricing clearly is a genuine issue here and the price of TITAN Xp is simply ridiculous. For those on 1080p or even 1440p monitors, the TITAN Xp is very expensive and there are better value choices in the short term. It is worth noting that the TITAN Xp is a very power hungry card and requires a decent power supply unit. In terms of memory, the TITAN Xp 's 12288 MB RAM is more than enough for modern games and should not cause any bottlenecks. 4K gaming is joyous on this TITAN Xp , and with a little tweaking to your AA settings, it'd be hard to imagine a title not capable of 60 fps on average.
