Our Verdict: The price of TITAN Xp is ridiculous. At 1440p, RX 580 can hit 50-60 frames per second on pretty much everything at ultra, just without antialiasing, less ambient occlusion and turned down shadows. Whereas TITAN Xp can hit 50-60 frames per second at maximum settings. The TITAN Xp is faster by 34% for 1440p gaming. For 1080p games, upgrading from RX 580 to TITAN Xp is not worth it if targeting 60 frames per second. In addition, taking into account the huge price difference between the two, the RX 580 is a winner. The price/performance ratio is much better for RX 580 .

At 1440p, RX 580 can hit 50-60 fps on pretty much everything at ultra, just without antialiasing, less ambient occlusion and turned down shadows. It is clear that the RX 580 is a significantly more capable high-end card that can play AAA titles at 1080p/1440p with 50-60 frames per second. The price/performance ratio is excellent for RX 580 against the competition in budget mid-range cards. In terms of memory, the RX 580 's 8192 MB RAM is more than enough for modern games and should not cause any bottlenecks.

NVIDIA TITAN Xp / i7-7700K

In terms of cost, pricing clearly is a genuine issue here and the price of TITAN Xp is simply ridiculous. It is worth noting that the TITAN Xp is a very power hungry card and requires a decent power supply unit. In terms of memory, the TITAN Xp 's 12288 MB RAM is more than enough for modern games and should not cause any bottlenecks. In short the performance is exceptional, there's no question that this is one of the most powerful single GPU out there in 2017 .
